Thanks to the thick vegetation surrounding the villages of Cuddington and Sandiway, dusk appears to set in early on the parish village. That is not to mean, however, that the village goes to sleep in the early hours of the evening. There are a lot of things and places where you can have a great time and wind down your evening.
Here are some places you should sample:
The Sandiway Ales
This is a little brewery with an on-site pub and an open beer garden where you can kick back from the early evening. You can even have a great time playing free roulette games in the garden area. The place doesn’t get rowdy, but it does get lively in a pleasant way on most evenings. You could start with a brewery tour in the early evening (ends at 5 pm on weekdays and 7 pm over the weekend).
Village Hall Film Night
Between the months of April and September, the Village Hall hosts a film night on every second Wednesday of the month. This is a great platform to not only enjoy some recent and classic movies on a big screen, but to also interact with other residents in an informal setting. Cheshire, and Cuddington, in particular, are residences for many of the country’s big names in different fields, and a good number are likely to be found here every once in a while.
Music Train to Plumley
The music train is a fun activity at Cuddington station. It goes on for around three-and-a-half hours, ending at Plumley. All you need to do is show up and pay the train fare, then hop in and enjoy the ride and music with other fun seeking riders. The July 2018 event happens on the 18th – looks like Wendesday is a popular fun day at Cuddington!
